The Easter treats were proving so popular with shoppers that the retailer has chose to make a four-pack of hot cross buns available all year round.

Coles Category Manager for In-Store Bread, Freddie Hancock, said the supermarket adding the hot cross buns all year is the result of customer demand.

In what may just be a massive "fuck you" to everyone who complains about hot cross buns being on shelves microseconds after the tinsel of Christmas is taken down, Coles has declared that it won't just be putting out the spiced dough treats early, they're going to be a permanent fixture.

Lovers of hot cross buns can get their hands on the traditional treat now - 247 days before Easter. The sumptuous, cinnamony boys will now be available in a four-pack for a humble $3, 12 months a year baby.

The supermarket announced the buns would be available in four packs for $3.

Do you think hot cross buns should be available all year round? "Got to be a record!" one person wrote to Twitter. For many people, that includes a delicious hot cross bun, ' Mr Hancock said.

Johnson tells officials to make no-deal Brexit planning 'top priority'
"But I am not taking part in these little summer games", said Juncker, who is due to be leaving his position soon. I applaud him for his energy and determination to get Brexit by 31st of October "deal or no-deal", "do or die".

The public is divided over Coles' decision to sell hot cross buns year-round.

Others were able to get their hands on a pack in December. "The world gets more and more insane all the time", a third consumer said. "C'mon Coles, my Christmas ham has only just been eaten", a fourth person said.

"Thank you Coles for selling them so early!"

Customers were constantly asking for hot cross buns outside of the Easter period.

Parabanks Coles shopper Rebecca Leach said while she loves hot cross buns at Easter, "to be able to get them all year round is unbelievable".

Coles' competitor Woolworths has not yet revealed if it will be following suit.
