It also cited a negotiating source within Barcelona who said that with such a written offer, Barcelona's board will be confident it has a chance to seal the deal.

In this high level meeting, Barcelona decided they would make a written offer to Paris Saint-Germain, informed "RAC1".

Barcelona, as we are hearing from several different sources, have chose to try and sign Neymar one more time, Neymar is recovering from a knock and has not yet played for PSG this season.

According to ESPN, Barcelona is going to try and sign Neymar on loan with an option to make the deal permanent next summer. This summer, the club has added Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie de Jong, Junior Firpo and Neto all for more than €200 million.

PSG are believed to see Dybala as the ideal replacement for Neymar, and they wanted to reach out to Juventus to strike a completely separate deal for the Argentine.

He was sentenced to six years in jail in March, with a non-parole period of three years and eight months. If the justices accept the first argument, Pell could walk free from prison today.

Barcelona simply doesn't have the money to buy Neymar outright at the moment.

One stumbling block over any potential move for Neymar this summer is Financial Fair Play, and it is reported that the Italian giants would have to offload some players before signing him in order to comply with the rules. Without moving some assets there's no way a deal could get done. They apparently made an official offer already, ponying up $89 million plus Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic, but that was turned down.

Real and Barca are said to have been in negotiations with PSG over the past two weeks, but with the transfer window deadline nearing - neither side have reached an agreement. The fee would be paid in June next year.

"We have to wait until the end to see what he decides, but I hope that in the end, he will stay".
