However, an optical illusion is now making the rounds that proves you might not be as able to distinguish the two animals as you thought.

Is this a rabbit or a black raven? Forget the 'beach or stormy sky' optical illusion.

And not only will it keep you guessing for at least ten minutes, it also involves adorable animals.

Imgur user HorseonaBike shared a video of an animal enjoying a head scratch.

Men in Their 20s Arrested for Making Separate Mass Shooting Threats
New Middletown police say they arrested 20-year-old James Reardon, Jr., at his home Saturday in the Mahoning County village. He's accused of threatening to kill 100 people. "He had a rifle and 400 rounds of ammunition.

In the case of this viral video, the animal appears to be a bird due to the positioning of the supposed "ears" of the "rabbit".

Looks like a bird to me.

People immediately started freaking out because, at a first glance you may think 'Oh, what a cute rabbit.' After getting a closer look, however, you may see the creature as a crow. "I can't handle this kind of mental pressure right now", someone tweeted.

While a fifth gave up, simply adding: "I still don't know if it's a rabbit or a crow". It has been viewed over 3.3 million times and triggered a fierce debate on whether the animal is a bunny or a bird.

He Tweeted: "That is not a rabbit, it is indeed a Corvid [crow family]. Instead of moving up and down, it sweeps across the eye horizontally like a windscreen wiper and is translucent".

We're not sure exactly what that means, but we're happy to take his word for it.
