WASHINGTON, July 31 ― USA rapper Cardi B cancelled a concert in Indianapolis yesterday evening due to concerns over a "security threat", she said on social media. Also taking to Twitter, the IMPD stated that the investigation is ongoing, adding that the threat is unverified and there's no immediate threat to public safety.

Bankers Life sent a tweet at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday to tell ticketholders the show set to start at 7 p.m. would not go on.

The venue nearly immediately announced that the fans' purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled concert on September 11, 2019.

"This was me at 4:26pm in the venue rehearsing", she wrote in one tweet.

On Wednesday, Cardi took to Twitter to share more information about the security issue, writing: "I was literally getting my makeup when police and security from venue got a threat tip".

Michael Thomas, Saints agree to record-setting contract
Thomas played in three seasons with the Buckeyes before being selected 47th overall by the Saints in the 2016 NFL Draft. Of course, anytime we're talking about National Football League player contracts, that number doesn't tell the tale.

The hip-hop star tweeted out an apology to Hoosiers following word that there was a safety threat, saying "My safety and your safety first".

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department later confirmed it is investigating the incident.

"This was at 5:36pm I wonder around what time I got drunk?lols", she captioned another image.

Following the concert's postponement, Cardi went on social media to express her sympathy. She was forced to alert her fans via Twitter. "Im from the hood I never been a situation like that so I will avoided".

"There still a federal investigation going on", Cardi tweeted. Earlier in the day, Cardi urged her fans to tune in for the democratic presidential debate. Check out Cardi B's Instagram post where she apologizes to her IN fans below. Grab tickets to see the rapper on tour this year via Ticket Club.
