That's right! Quentin Tarantino who is considered by many as one of the most influential filmmakers of all time is going to be a father for the very first time.

Director Quentin Tarantino and his wife Daniella Pick are expecting a baby. No additional details were made available.

The director's latest film opened in theaters last month to $40 million from 3,659 North American theaters during the weekend, according to Variety, marking a career-best for Tarantino. "In Hollywood", the film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt that became a summer hit.

"I kind of like the idea of making 10 motion pictures and then, boom, that's it, that's done", he said.

The pair got hitched in November previous year in a secret wedding at Tarantino's home in Los Angeles, California.

Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the director mentioned the impact marriage had on him. The couple married past year.

"And I've never done that before, and now I know why".

"I was waiting for the ideal girl", said the Pulp Fiction director.
