John Daly pushes back against claims that Trump cheats at golf

Champion golfer John Daly defended President Trump on Tuesday over allegations the commander-in-chief is one of the most prolific cheaters when he plays a round of golf.

Not one to avoid courting controversy the big man JD met up with the president of the U.S. of A for a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Afterward he was asked by TMZ about the president and his game.

"It's for him to get away. And then gets back to work".

"It's just wonderful that people call him a cheat in golf", Daly said, referring to Trump. "You wanna call a cheat in golf? I don't think Bill Clinton could've broke 100". Daly told TMZ that Trump tops Clinton by several strokes. At least the President, Mr. Trump, he can shoot 80.

He added Gerald Ford wasn't very good, but said he was amusing.

"He recently golfed with Trump and posted a proud Twitter message on Monday about the round calling it "one of the greatest days of my life!" while touting Trump as the "#greatest #leader #of #our #country".
