LG G8X Renders Leak, Tip Dewdrop Notch, Dual Rear Cameras, Headphone Jack

LG will be announcing new phones at IFA 2019 at the start of next month - the LG G8X and the dual-screen LG V60 ThinQ are expected.

LG Electronics on Monday unveiled a teaser video of the second 5G phone with a detachable dual screen, which is set to make its global debut next month. This handset will be coming with dual rear cameras like its siblings LG G8 ThinQ and LG G8S ThinQ which are placed horizontally on the back.

According to OnLeaks, the G8X ThinQ measures 159.3 x 75.8 x 8.5mm and has a 6.2-inch display. New leak-based renders of the LG G8X have been shared.

Nike says that the Adventure Club includes shoe sizes from 4C to 7Y, which is "roughly from age 2 to 10". Nike said it will either donate or recycle returned sneakers depending on their condition.

Unlike the G8 ThinQ, which sports a wide notch, the G8X ThinQ will have a less intrusive waterdrop cutout at the top. However, there is no information about the size of the camera sensors. We can assume that the biometric scanner has been moved under the display, while it also looks like LG is doing away with the multiple-camera setup that enabled the poorly-received Air Motion gestures and 3D Face Unlock. Although there are no indications to suggest these devices ( LG V50S and LG V60s) will surface at the IFA conference, but the timing could mean we would hear more about them at the show.

The renders show volume rockers on the left side of the phone as well as the dedicated key which LG uses for triggering the Google Assistant. It will be powered via the USB Type-C port and also has a 3.5mm audio jack.

The second major difference is the presence of an earpiece, which suggests LG has ditched its hole-less Crystal Sound tech from the LG G8, which used vibrations to produce sound through the screen.
