Jordan Brand is reportedly in talks to sign Manchester City and England star Raheem Sterling to a football boot endorsement deal said to be worth around £100 million (approximately $120.8 million).

A double Premier League champion with Manchester City a domestic treble victor last season and the reigning FWA Footballer of the Year, Sterling began the new Premier League campaign on Saturday with a hat-trick in a 5-0 rout of West Ham on Saturday.

As for Sterling, the English star could go one further and become the first footballer to be sponsored by Air Jordan should the move materialise. This is according to an exclusive report by British newspaper The Telegraph. The company entered the soccer market for the first time in 2018-19 by designing the kits for Paris Saint-Germain.

Jordan brand is a subsidiary of Nike and moved into football a year ago with the launch of a stunning "Jordan X PSG" range.

Nike are kit manufacturers for all 30 teams in the basketball league and Michael Jordan's team Charlotte Hornets carry the Jordan badge on their jerseys.

Sterling is one of the most coveted athletes for brands in the United Kingdom after his raise in profile of late. The 24-year-old is in the final year of his current deal with Nike.
