"I knew it was not OK", Worden told the Times.

Investigators from the inspector general's office have since contacted both women about what is believed to be the first alleged incident of criminality in space. The bank informed her that one of the computers was registered with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Instead, McClain claims she was doing what she has always done: checking her family's finances to ensure there were sufficient funds in the account to pay bills and care for the son that McClain and Worden have raised together.

Worden's parents then brought another complaint with NASA's Office of Inspector General, alleging that McClain had improperly accessed Worden's private financial records and conducted a "highly calculated and manipulative campaign" to gain custody of Worden's son. McClain wanted to adopt him after the couple's wedding in 2014, but Worden refused; before the marriage dissolved, McClain requested parenting rights from a judge.

Anne McClain acknowledged she accessed the account while she was onboard the ISS but has denied any wrongdoing. McClain shared official astronaut portraits that featured the child, taken in 2017, but removed them from the internet after Worden complained.

The 24-year-old actor never misses any chance to show her inherent quality of kindness, generosity and good spirits. The actor was reportedly returning from Bangkok, and was seen in a white, long-sleeved T-shirt and dark glasses.

Anne McClain is a decorated NASA astronaut who has spent more than 200 days in space. Worden put her intelligence background to work, asking her bank about the locations of computers that had recently accessed her bank account using her login credentials.

Recent divorceGround personnel help NASA astronaut Anne McClain to get out of the Soyuz MS-11 capsule as she and the rest of the crew returned to earth in June this year. Worden filed for divorce in 2018 after McClain accused her of assault.

McClain was supposed to be part of NASA's first all-female spacewalk in March before it was canceled for a lack of properly fitting spacesuits.

McClain's attorney, Rusty Hardin, said his client "strenuously denies that she did anything improper", and added that the astronaut "is totally cooperating".

The International Space Station is owned by the US, Russia, Europe, Japan and Canada, and the laws of each apply to those on board depending on their nationality. NASA said at the time that the decision was McClain's choice as there were not enough space suits in McClain and Koch's sizes.
