Police ask for help finding missing British YouTuber Marina Joyce

Marina Joyce, a well-known 22-year-old British YouTuber, has been missing for nine days, according to Haringey, London, police.

Police tweeted out for information to help finding her, writing that she was reported missing to officers on August 7.

Her last video - titled HOW I CARE FOR MY HAIR - was posted a month ago, with Joyce saying a new clip would be posted a week later. "Please don't worry about her as she is safe and well (you have my word for that)".

Her boyfriend Brandon Mehmed now says that she has been found.

However, in August 2016, Joyce stunned followers again when she posted a freakish message about wanting to be called a "God", and her desire to build a temple in Peru.

'Everything is being dealt with in a professional manner.

"Also everyone who thinks I'm acting "suspicious" are only misinformed and don't know me at alllll".

Another said: 'Hope you are found safe and sound'.

The video, which was called Date Outfit Ideas, Marina seemed to whisper "help me", which caused the hashtag #SaveMarinaJoyce to begin trending on Twitter in the United Kingdom and USA - sparking a police probe.

Out of respect for Marina and her family, I'm not going to speculate about what could be going on.

"It was so bad", Marina said at the time.

"Haringey's local police force tweeted to join the campaign, posting: "'Can you help to find Marina Joyce, 22, missing from #Haringey? "I'm getting better now, which is why I decided to make this video".
