Team Penske driver Will Power earned his first NTT IndyCar Series victory of the season, extending his streak of consecutive seasons with at least one victory to 13. With Dixon finding his handling balance off since his last stop, Power was able to gap the PNC Bank Honda by 5s when the race went yellow, then red two laps later, for lightning in the area.

Power had to wait a while, through a series of lightning strikes to the west, before IndyCar finally made it official, calling the race at 128 of the scheduled 200 laps.

Australian Will Power has taken his first win of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series in a rain-shortened race at Pocono Raceway.

His comments follow another huge multi-car crash in this year's event, which has hospitalized Felix Rosenqvist who got up into the same catch fencing that caused Wickens's injuries in 2018.

Justin Wilson died in 2015 from a head injury after being struck by debris from another vehicle driven by Sage Karam at Pocono that year. Andretti has not had much success at his home track with a top finish of seventh place in six starts, but Veach took to the track nicely in his debut there past year with a sixth place finish. But he's going through his worst season and seemed poised to go winless for the first time since 2006.

In each of the last five seasons, the team, out of these two teams, that did not win the Indy 500 went on to win the race at Pocono Raceway.

The Chip Ganassi Racing driver was taken by ambulance shortly after the wreck triggered by Takuma Sato on the first lap.

IndyCar announced that Rosenqvist was set to be released from the hospital.

The green flag had barely been dropped when 2017 Indianapolis 500 victor Takuma Sato used an aggressive - arguably foolish - move to trigger a wreck that sent Felix Rosenqvist to the hospital.

Larry King seeks divorce from seventh wife after 22 years
Larry's marriage to Shawn has been his longest; the 85-year-old has tied the knot eight times with seven different women. Larry King and Shawn King , 59, a former singer and TV host, married in 1997 and have two adult sons, Chance and Cannon.

"I had a few issues during the race but we just kept coming back." said Power after the race.

Takuma Sato triggered a unsafe wreck on the first lap of the IndyCar race at Pocono Raceway, collecting five drivers, sending cars into the fence and bringing the race to a halt.

"I can't even begin to understand how after previous year Takuma thinks that's acceptable", Rossi said.

Rossi, who won Pocono previous year, saw his IndyCar championship hopes take a serious blow because of the wreck.

Josef Newgarden, the series leader, finished fifth. "I love oval racing and want it in Indycar I just simply don't love Indycar at pocono".

"It's just a toxic relationship and maybe it's time to consider a divorce", Wickens said on Twitter. "I'm very relieved (to my knowledge) that everyone is okay from that scary crash". He started in last place in the races there in both 2016 and 2017, and he worked his way through the field to lead laps in both.

Will Power was declared the victor of Sunday's ABC Supply 500 after a storm and lightning hit Pocono Raceway.

Newgarden holds a 16-point lead over Alexander Rossi, who also starts Sunday's race on the front row.

But for Robert Wickens, the Canadian confined to a wheelchair after last year's accident, IndyCar has no place on the 2 1/2-mile superspeedway. He finished 18th, losing 19 points to Newgarden.
