The Offspring, Sum 41 coming to Kamloops

Sum 41 and The Offspring are coming to Halifax.

It's been 35 years since The Offspring formed in Southern California and 25 years since their landmark album "Smash" was released.

Right now, The Offspring are putting the finishing touches on their first album in seven years while Sum 41 are celebrating their most recent release 'Order in Decline'. The album has also had success internationally, making number two spots on USA current rock and hard music album charts, number three on US alternative charts and number two in the United Kingdom rock and metal charts.

That includes tunes like "Fat Lip", "In Too Deep", "Still Waiting", "The Hell Song" and "Pieces".

Tickets go on sale Friday, August 23 at 10 a.m. (Limit of eight tickets per).

The floor will be general admission, while the rest of the stadium is reserved seating.

Tickets will be available via a special pre-sale that takes place tomorrow, Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. Venue resale launches Thursday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. They have also had 12 top-10 hits on the US mainstream rock charts.

The lead single from the album, Out For Blood, landed the band in the Top 10 of the Canadian Active Rock Radio share and now holds the No. 7 spot. The single peaked at #1 on Sirius XM Octane and has been added to numerous streaming playlists.

Offspring's hits include "Self Esteem", "The Kids Aren't Alright", and "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid".
