For players of the game as is, a collection of new content will no doubt make the game more delightful and offer up some uniqueness to the Switch title.

Are you surprised Captain Toad is receiving a VR update?

Nintendo confirmed today via YouTube that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will receive Labo VR support in its latest version update 1.3.0. Specifically, the game will have a new mode that can be played using the kit and therefore virtual reality. Does this new feature attract you? The Labo VR levels seem to keep that gameplay largely intact, although it looks like there's also an on-rails first-person shooter segment. These include the Toy-Con VR Goggles, which sit in front of the Nintendo Switch hardware itself, plus the Blaster, Camera, Bird, Wind Pedal and Elephant Toy-Con projects.

We've got some unexpected news on the Captain Toad beat.
