Banjo Kazooie might be coming to Smash Ultimate sooner than expected

Nintendo Banjo & Kazooie is included in Challenger Pack 3 set for release this fall.

There seems to be little doubt about it and therefore a wrestler of an SNK license plate is preparing to make his Super Smash Bros Ultimate debut, even if at the moment the character's identity remains shrouded in mystery.

Now keep in mind that none of this has been officially confirmed.

This comes from Twitter user PushDustIn who shared screenshots from a new-removed Nintendo page regarding Challenge Pack 4, bringing a new stage, a fresh fighter, and music tracks. However, at the bottom of the description, you can see that there's a copyright notice for SNK.

Japan bid to reach first quarter-finals
As in the 2015 World Cup, the squad will be captained by flanker Michael Leitch, like Thompson, another New Zealand-born player. Japan takes on Russian Federation in the first match of the World Cup on the 20th of September at 10.45pm.

I also wouldn't kick Bub and Bob from Bubble Bobble out of my Smash bed, but since they are owned by Taito, and only licenced to SNK for Neo Geo titles, their chances are slim (for now). While not as well known as Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, The King of Fighters none the less has a dedicated fanbase and 14 installments.

If the info spotted there is anything to go by, then the upcoming fighter could be from one of SNK's many franchises.

SNK also released a 40th anniversary collection of some of its most enduring franchises back in late 2018. That's why I'm guessing that if the next Smash character is from SNK, it will be Marco from Metal Slug (with Ralph/Clark from Ikari Warriors as an alt costume).

New Smash display at 7-11 in Japan.
