Christian Yelich's season came to a shocking end Tuesday night when he fractured his right kneecap on a foul ball.

The outfielder was the NL MVP past year.

Yelich fouled a pitch off his leg and limped off the field in the first inning. He remained on the ground for several minutes before he reached his feet.

Uranium traces could indicate, for example, the former presence of equipment or material somehow connected to those particles. Iran says it will not negotiate until it is granted relief from USA sanctions, which France is trying to broker.

He entered Tuesday's action hitting.330 with 44 homers and 97 RBI while leading the National League in on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS. The 27-year-old now leads all of baseball in OPS (1.100), paces the NL in wRC+ (172), and stood a legitimate chance to post the first 50-30 season in the history of the sport. The Brewers now trail the Cubs in the NL Wild Card race by 2.0 games.

Trent Grisham continued Yelich's at-bat with a 1-2 count and struck out - the strikeout was charged to Yelich.
