Had received terror warning against team for Pak tour: Sri Lanka board

Akhtar took to Twitter to write: "So disappointed with the 10 Sri Lankan players who have pulled out of Pakistan tour".

Miandad -who played for Pakistan in Tests and ODIs between 1975 and 1996 - said Pakistani players need to be consistent in their performances. Some decided not to play purely based on the 2009 incident.

The Sri Lankan team would be touring Pakistan for three ODIs and as many Twenty20s in September and October.

Miandad advised that "we [Pakistan] must not bother with which players would travel to Pakistan and instead focus on playing at our best in the series".

Fernando reaction comes in the response to Pakistan Science and Technology Minister Hussain's remarks that Sri Lankan cricket players opted out from the Pak tour after India threatened to oust them from the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The statement from Sri Lanka Cricket came a short while after the board announced two squads for the three One-Day Internationals and the three T20 matches starting September 27.

Apple and Foxconn broke Chinese labor law to build latest iPhones
According to the report , workers at Zhengzhou Foxocnn put in at least 100 overtime hours a month during peak production seasons. CLW says that the number has now fallen from 50 percent to 30 percent, but that still violates Chinese labour laws.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has sought the assistance of the Sri Lankan Government to conduct a "Reassessment" of the security situation in Pakistan ahead of the National Team's planned tour to Pakistan, the SLC said today (11) issuing a media release.

Ten senior players have already opted out of the upcoming tour citing security concerns.

Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dimuth Karunaratne, Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Perera, Dhananjaya De Silva, Thisara Perera, Akila Dhananjaya and Suranga Lakmal - on Monday chose to give the series, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs, a miss due to security reasons.

Sri Lanka's scheduled tour of Pakistan has hit a roadblock, following warnings of a possible terrorist threat received from the Sri Lanka Prime Minister's Office. We expect reciprocation from Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka will play a three-match ODI series and three-match T20I Series during the tour and would then return to Pakistan in December for the Test series which would be part of the ICC World Test Championship.

Though, the security situation in Pakistan is far from being completely normal even after the 2009 attack.
