Vikings place Josh Doctson on injured reserve; sign rookie cornerback to roster

However, that didn't last very long as the Vikings were able to sign a deal with former Washington Redskins receiver Josh Doctson just two days after making their final cuts.

On Thursday, Minnesota announced that they were placing Doctson on injured reserve. Doctson had prior chemistry with Kirk Cousins, and he was thought to have been the receiver the Vikings wanted instead of Laquon Treadwell. Doctson, 26, was selected by Washington with the 22nd pick in the first round of the 2016 draft. He is being placed on the IR with a designation for return, meaning that his season isn't now over, but he will miss the next several weeks, including a game against his former team in Week 8.

OPEC Cuts 2020 Oil Demand Forecast
Saudi Arabia and Russian Federation on Thursday called on OPEC members and its allies to better comply with oil production cuts. The U.S. overtook OPEC producers Saudi Arabia and Russian Federation to become, briefly, the world's top oil exporter.

Hollins capped his college career at Eastern Illinois, where he recorded 80 receptions, 1,102 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior. It'd be a surprise if they didn't add another once they officially place Doctson on the IR. Hollins was waived by the Vikings during final cuts.
