The interior gets a concept auto layout with tech-laden screens at the front. Power figures are what you would expect with a total output of 469 bhp and 760 Nm of peak torque, with two electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles with a battery integrated into the floor between them.

It tops out at slightly over 200kmph. The battery pack with give it a WLTP range of 700 kilometers (435 miles) and it'll support charging at up to 350kw so it can go from zero to 80 percent in less than 20 minutes. While the allelectric vehicle hints at the striking future design cues from Infiniti, the Prototype 10 concept's most important feature is its electric powertrain.

It follows the EQC, EQA and EQB as Mercedes-Benz's fourth all-electric model, but is the first to feature a dedicated steel, aluminium and carbon-fibre platform, dubbed MEA (Modular Electric Architecture) internally.

Search warrants served in USA boat probe
She said officials had already interviewed the owner-operator of the dive boat, but didn't offer any further details. Authorities have been trying to determine the cause of the fire and why no one below the deck was able to escape.

The most interesting part of the interior, unfortunately, comes with few details; according to Mercedes-Benz, "digital content can be immersively experienced over the entire area". But that's not all, as the new model features a whole host of futuristic bits. Watch the trailer for the Vision EQS in the video above. I'm not sure about you, but I'm never again buying a vehicle without a built-in fragrance flask. It also gets a sleek 360-degree illuminated blue strip that separates the two-tone black finish. The front grille is a 188 LED matrix, each a pinpoint shining through the gloss black panel. The illuminated look continues at the rear with 229 LEDs around the bodywork shaped like miniature three-pointed stars. The dashboard blends with the front trim, stretching around and then punctuated with floating armrests and a center console. Mercedes has also equipped the Vision EQS with autonomous systems up to level 3.

The ongoing 2019 Frankurt Motor Show has some exciting launches happening around it and German automaker Mercedes-Benz has previewed the next iteration of the S-Class with the Vision EQS Concept. The concept is capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 200 kmph.

If you wanted to know what luxury cars will look like in the future, the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS is here to answer such questions with its simple yet progressive styling, not to mention a properly tech-laden interior. The latest electric S-Class concept vehicle, which was announced at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, is aimed to lay the ground work for "thrilling, futuristic design for the EQ models from Mercedes-Benz" going forward.
