- The Portugal global pockets a massive €162 m (£146.8m ), and an annual fee of €16.2 m (£14.68m).

Ronaldo was reportedly the subject of a major battle between Nike and rivals Adidas to land his services before he penned a 10-year extension with Nike in 2016.

According to Football Leaks, the 34-year-old is getting paid a staggering £146.8million by Nike, which equates to an annual fee of £14.68m.

But that's not all because thanks to bonuses, he received a massive £18.3m in both 2016 and 2017.

Cristiano pockets over 16 million euro from Nike per year and also earns an added four million bonus on the occasions when he bags a global accolade such as the Ballon d'Or or the FIFA The Best award.

Ronaldo, who came in at sixth on Forbes' list of the top 100 highest-paid celebrities in 2019, boasts the most lucrative contract a footballer has with Nike.

Nike responded to the story, saying "We do not comment on athlete contracts".
