Reynolds Ferrell to star in 'A Christmas Carol' remake

According to THR, Sean Anders and John Morris will direct the film, starring Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds.

No word yet on who Ferrell and Reynolds will play, although I have my suspicions (Anyone else think that Ferrell could make a mean Scrooge?).

The combination of Reynolds and Ferrell is a promising one.

No studio is now attached to distribute the musical. Both actors are also producing the project.

Last month, Trump said the USA would delay tariffs on some goods until December 15 as to not disrupt the holiday shopping season. The United States had removed tariffs overnight from over 400 Chinese products in response to requests from USA companies.

The newest in an extended line of reworkings, most notable variations embrace Invoice Murray's 1988 comedy Scrooged and the 1992 film The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Among the more famous adaptations are The Muppet Christmas Carol, and Scrooged, a comedy version of the story set in 1980s NY and starring Bill Murray.

Ferrell can now be seen in Zach Galifiankis' Netflix comedy "Between Two Ferns: The Movie", before starring in the streamer's upcoming film "Eurovision", co-starring Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, Dan Stevens and Demi Lovato. He's next starring a remake of "Force Majeure" called "Downhill" and in a satirical send-up of the global song competition "Eurovision".

Meanwhile, Reynolds recently appeared in "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw" and has the Michael Bay Netflix action film "6 Underground" in his upcoming credits along with "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard". He's represented by WME.
