Former Hillary Clinton Aide: ‘There Are People Who Believe She Won’

Tulsi Gabbard calls Hillary Clinton's foreign policy a 'disaster' in latest retort

Gabbard, who is now polling at 1.3% nationally and at 2.0% in Iowa and New Hampshire according to RealClearPolitics, has been verbally sparring with Clinton for several days after the former senator strongly implied during a podcast that the Hawaii Congresswoman was a "Russian asset".

The first woman to win a major party presidential nomination - and the national popular vote leader with nearly 3 million more votes than Trump - Clinton remains a popular figure in her party, even after enduring criticism for losing key Midwestern states to Trump.

The latest fracas started last week when Clinton suggested on a podcast that Russians are "grooming (Gabbard) to be the third-party candidate".

'Hillary, your foreign policy was a disaster for our country and the world, ' the 38-year-old military combat veteran who served in the Iraq War said. Sanders shamed Clinton on her recent remarks about Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) being a Russian favorite.

Establishment Democratic donors have been mulling what a late presidential bid by Hillary Clinton would mean for the 2020 race. She also posted a video on Twitter saying, "Hillary and her gang of rich, powerful elite are going after me to send a message to you: 'Shut up, toe the line, or be destroyed.' But we, the people, will not be silenced". She labeled Clinton as the "queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party".

Clinton's comments sparked mounting bipartisan backlash.

At the same time, it pushed out a "clean update" to CCleaner that was signed with a new digital certificate. The company also says that with immediate effect it has "implemented additional scrutiny" to all releases.

"Folks, listen to the podcast".

"The short of it is that she's on a book tour and is feeling unconstrained about speaking her mind", said Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill. "It was a question about Republicans".

However, among those who have come to Gabbard's defence is Sanders, whom the Hawaii Congresswoman had endorsed as the Democratic candidate in 2016. Cory Booker, former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, entrepreneur Andrew Yang and spiritual author Marianne Williamson all condemned Clinton's suggestion that Gabbard was a Russian pawn. The focus of the campaign should instead be on the issues of concern to voters, such as climate change and the economy, he added. Tulsi is not being groomed by anyone. "She's out there telling the truth". "Obviously, (she) has served this country, continues to serve this country, in uniform, in Congress, as a candidate for presidency".

He again defended Gabbard during an interview with MSNBC, where he again insisted that "the focus has to be on Donald Trump". "Anybody that is opposed to her is a Russian agent", Trump complained at the White House on Monday. I looked at the complaint and was very concerned.

"I don't know what the basis is for that, but I consider her to be a competitor", he said during an appearance on CNN."I respect her service. And I would prefer to have that argument in terms of policy, which is what we do at debates and what we're doing as we go forward".
