United have maintained so far this season they are backing manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told his players they're going to get him sacked.

However, it's impossible to ignore the mounting pressure that Solskjaer is under - a world away from the excitement the Norwegian engendered when he took the job in December previous year and went on to get 32 points from his opening 13 games.

The Norwegian made three main signings this summer, bringing in Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.

Manchester United fans shouldn't be surprised if five players are added to Solskjaer's team in the next transfer window as the club legend Ryan Giggs believes that's the only solution to the problem at Old Trafford.

"At the moment, based on this interview, and based on what I've seen in the game, I'm not sure if he really knows how to find the buttons there".

Almost 300 arrests confirmed during first day of disruption in central London
Val Harvey said: "I'm 81 years old and I've been on an ecological and environmentalist journey for a long time". In the Netherlands, 50 people were arrested after they erected a tent to block a road in central Amsterdam .

The pair are neck and neck this season, with Mane having recorded eight goals and one assist to Salah's six strikes and three assists across all competitions.

Reports emerged from England earlier today that the Manchester United board is ready to back the manager and provide him with a substantial transfer budget to improve the squad in the upcoming transfer windows.

"What he is trying to do was much needed".

The Sun says he even warned them the axe could fall on him if they get thumped at home to Liverpool straight after the worldwide break.

The Red Devils are aiming to try and break back into the top four this season after they finished sixth and without a trophy under Solskjaer last term.
