How to Enable Dark Mode on Instagram (Android & iOS)

If you have been reading tech news for a while, then you might know that Google rolled out the Android 10 operating system to all Pixel and Essential smartphone previous month. In this updated version of the app, there's a new Theme setting which gives users three options.

With the addition of a system-wide dark mode to Android 10, Google is in the process of adding dark modes to its wide range of mobile apps. Now its time for Instagram to join the list.

All your frequently used apps have already got the dark mode now, Instagram is the most recent one. While they sound like worthy advantages, it hasn't stopped the Internet from creating memes on the dark mode feature.

Instagram was the latest to roll out this feature, which allows users to update the usual white background to a darker shade. Like past dark mode sightings, this one isn't available for WhatsApp public beta users either. As a result, people who use dark mode often do so because it offers them a better experience when using their devices at night.
