Is Xiaomi prepping an 8K smartphone?

The last smartphone under the Xiaomi Mi Note series was the Mi Note 3, which came out in September 2017.

Xiaomi is also planning to add some cool camera features in their future smartphones.

Xiaomi, however, won't be the first to launch a 50X digital zoom lens as Huawei launched the P30 Pro earlier this year with 5X optical zoom and 50X digital zoom. However, a reliable tipster from China has claimed that Xiaomi may resurrect the Mi Note series by launching the Mi Note 10 flagship phone by the end of October. However, there haven't been any other details about the features or pricing about the smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mi Note and the Mi Note 2 were flagship smartphones and packed high-end specifications. However, Xiaomi released the third generation of the Mi Note as an upper-midrange smartphone. Oddly enough, Xiaomi's smartphone to offer only two options in the refresh rate display settings - 60Hz and 120Hz, that's right, no 90Hz option!

The first, from XDA Developers, suggests an upcoming Xiaomi phone could have a 120Hz refresh rate - that means the screen will refresh 120 times per second, or twice as quickly as most smartphone displays now. MIUI 11 has unleashed a barrage of new features alongside a totally overhauled design, one of which is an updated camera app.

Xiaomi has also been found to be developing a smartphone with a 5X zoom telephoto camera which can also zoom in digitally to up to 50X.
