Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons is likely to miss the next three games with a Grade 1 AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. He will undergo further testing Thursday when the team travels to Denver.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons (25) pulls down a rebound as Utah Jazz's Donovan Mitchell, right, and Royce O'Neale (23) defends in the first half during an NBA basketball game Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, in Salt Lake City. He was unable to return to play. Simmons finished with two points and two assists in 10 minutes.

Workers at MetLife Stadium and some New Jersey state troopers herded the feline toward the end zone away from the players. It was directed into the corner of the end zone and then sprinted across the end line to a camera platform.

After missing his entire rookie campaign with a foot injury, Simmons has been durable since making his big league debut.

After winning its first five games of the season, Philadelphia has dropped two straight and will look to get back on track in Denver without its All-Star guard.
