Suarez's global teammate Nicolas Lodeiro has told ESPN that he wants a move to MLS. 'He is always asking me about the league.

Suarez, Lodeiro claims, has expressed his desire to play in MLS after achieving his dream of playing for Spanish giants FC Barcelona where he is a mainstay. "He (Suarez) wants to come to MLS", Lodeiro told MLSsoccer.com.

With Suarez now linked with a move to North America, it's worth noting he played an intriguing role in sealing Lodeiro's move to Seattle.

Lodeiro said it is only a matter of time before Suarez moves to the USA.

Suarez had joined Barcelona from Liverpool in a deal which was reported to be around at €80 million way back in 2014 and he has been splendid for them ever since.

"Sooner or later he will come to MLS". Well hopefully! He likes the league. He always asks me things about it. Hopefully he can also play for Seattle Sounders. It can be a more hard task. I think it's only a matter of time before he's out here, " Nicolas Lodeiro told ESPN.

With Lodeiro fighting to communicate with the Sounders' general manager, Garth Lagerwey, while he was negotiating his transfer during the worldwide break, Suarez took to the phone and acted as translator.
