The 2015 deal set a 3.67% limit for uranium enrichment but Iran announced it would no longer respect it after Washington unilaterally abandoned the agreement a year ago and reimposed crippling sanctions. However, once Iran reaches 20% purity it is a relatively short technical jump to reach 90% enrichment.

It was reported on November 6 that Iran began to pump gas to the centrifuges at its Fordow uranium enrichment plant, the fourth stage of Tehran's reduction of its obligation-fulfilment under the JCPOA.

Iran's cut of commitments pertaining to the 2015 nuclear deal is a "wake-up call" for the remaining parties of the deal to protect Iran's interests, Iran's Ambassador to Britain Hamid Baeidinejad was quoted as saying by Press TV Friday.

Britain, China, France, Germany, and Russian Federation have remained in the deal and have attempted to mitigate the damages caused to Iran's economy by renewed USA sanctions.

The third move had it firing up advanced centrifuges on September 7 to enrich uranium faster and to higher levels.

The JCPOA would push for Iran to limit its nuclear program in exchange for relief from western sanctions, and the country would also have to submit to global inspections of its nuclear sites.

Umm Qasr receives imports of grain, vegetable oils and sugar shipments that feed a country largely dependent on imported food. At a nearby makeshift clinic, volunteer medic Manar Hamad said she had helped treat dozens of wounded on Saturday alone.

He added that Iran was exercising its "rights" under its agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency when it revoked "her entrance and accreditation".

The AEO said she was denied entry to the facility on October 28, but it did not say if anything was found among her possessions when she was searched.

"The agency does not agree with Iran's characterisation of the situation involving the inspector", an IAEA spokesman said in a statement.

He further said that the IAEA experts are expected to arrive in Iran on Sunday to carry out verification tests on the samples.

The inspector was allowed to leave Iran on 30 October, the memo obtained by Reuters said.

Iran took the fourth phase of reduction of its nuclear commitments in response to the European inaction towards the United States withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement and re-imposition of economic sanctions.
