Michael Bloomberg is mulling a run for president in 2020 and said would make a decision in the coming weeks.

Former Vice President Joe Biden welcomed businessman Michael Bloomberg potentially jumping into the Democratic primary, dismissing the notion that it's a reflection of his performance in the race. "We will be asking them to make clear they are completely unaffiliated", longtime Bloomberg confidante Howard Wolfson said in one of more than a half-dozen tweets correcting the record to big-name accounts sharing the fake website.

However, his campaign is lagging far behind some of the other candidates in fundraising.

But why is Bloomberg expected to file for a presidential campaign?

Bloomberg reached out to several prominent Democrats on Thursday, including Raimondo. Bloomberg could pay for ads (for all the candidates!) documenting Trump's financial, ethical and policy failings.

Some Democrats were skeptical there would be a groundswell of interest in the former NY mayor. Vilsack told The Associated Press that Bloomberg called him Thursday evening and left a voicemail indicating he plans to run.

Mr Bloomberg could still opt against a run, even preliminary steps towards a campaign could damage Mr Bidens challenge.

A Fox News poll in late October found Mr Bloomberg faces more opposition than enthusiasm at the outset of the primaries.

Vilsack was the US secretary of agriculture under President Barack Obama.

Unlike Democrats Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who took shots at Bloomberg, Biden took the news in stride.

Luis Suarez Reportedly Looking For MLS Move
Suarez's global teammate Nicolas Lodeiro has told ESPN that he wants a move to MLS . 'He is always asking me about the league. I think it's only a matter of time before he's out here, " Nicolas Lodeiro told ESPN.

Asked if Trump needs to change his approach, since Bloomberg, "another business guy", is entering the race, Grisham said no. "I have no problem with him getting in the race".

Trump pointed out, as a fellow New Yorker, that he's known Bloomberg for years.

Mr Wolfson said: “We now need to finish the job and ensure that Trump is defeated — but Mike is increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned to do that.

Bloomberg has criticized Warren and his plan to institute a super-rich tax if he is elected as president to fund programs ranging from universal medical care to free university tuition.

"And there's a fear of that among Democratic donors who are more establishment - that they won't be able to be enthusiastic about that candidate".

Buckley and Price say they hope voters "will have that opportunity". According to the AP, he wasn't feeling confident in any of the contenders's ability to beat President Donald Trump in the general election.

"If I'm not mistaken, I'm doing quite well, both in relation to Trump and to all the people who run", he said.

Bill Carrick, a veteran Democratic strategist based in Los Angeles, said he did not think skipping the early voting states was ever a viable strategy.

He led an effort to create a technology campus on Roosevelt Island in New York City as a joint effort between Cornell University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa.

The early states offer just a small percentage of the delegates needed to clinch the Democratic nomination.
