The Rizal Memorial Stadium, the City of Imus Grandstand and the Binan Football Stadium will host the matches in the tournament.

But the national booters will also have to rely on the result of the other Group A game between Cambodia and Malaysia which also has a 4 p.m. kickoff at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stages with the semifinals scheduled for December 7 and the third-place play-off and final to be played on December 10.

The Cambodians hold the advantage with a +4 goal difference, Malaysia is +3 while the Philippines is at 0.

The best case scenario for the U-22 Azkals will be if they beat Timor Leste, and Cambodia and Malaysia battle to a draw.

Cambodia, however, will not face any problems as most of the main venues in their country have synthetic pitches.

The Azkals, however, has one of the sports' all-time greats in Ronaldo wishing them luck ahead of the match.

"A team need to take risks if they want to win big. Let's focus on winning the match", said Kim Swee yesterday.

Goalkeeper Kimhuy Hul actually got a piece of the ball, but it sailed through the goalmouth and he was too late to complete the save as the ball was already inside the goal line when he tapped it out.

"My biggest concern was not conceding [against] Timor-Leste and in that way we were lucky".
