Australia to face Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay in 2020 Copa America

Lionel Scaloni hopes the 2020 Copa América is not Lionel Messi's last as he eyes success with Argentina.

In Group A, Australia, the other guest nation, will face Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay and Chile.

The 12-team tournament, which runs from June 12 to July 12, includes all 10 teams from South America plus invited guests Australia and Qatar, who were the final sides to be placed in groups.

Argentina will open next year's tournament against Chile at El Monumental on 12 June, it was revealed on Tuesday.

This will be the fourth Copa America in six years but is slated to be the last one until 2024 as organisers move to a regular quadrennial format. Argentina, despite not winning the trophy since 1993, could equal that total this summer.

"Argentina need the title, more than just him (Lionel Messi)".

Adam Sandler remembers his reaction to being fired from SNL
The actor was joined on stage by Chris Rock and Pete Davidson , who joked with Sandler about how he has not been fired from the show yet.

The Socceroos have won twice against Paraguay but have never defeated Chile, while their fixture with Bolivia will be the first between the two nations in a men's global.

The Copa America first began in 1916, and Uruguay holds the mantle of the most trophies raised with 15.

Asian Cup holder Qatar has been drawn in Group B and will face co-hosts Colombia, defending champions Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

Notably, Argentina last won the Copa America title in 1993 and since then they have finished as runners up four times in 2004, 2007, 2015 and 2016.

The top four teams from each group at the 2020 Copa America qualify for the quarter-finals.
