Australia's David Warner also created history in the match as he went past former greats Sir Don Bradman (334) and Mark Taylor's (334*) innings score with his record-breaking unbeaten knock of 335 runs on Saturday.

World number one Test batsman Steve Smith went past Test legend Don Bradman's 73-year-old record to become the fastest individual to reach 7000 runs in just 126 innings.

India's Virender Sehwag is the third quickest in 134 innings. Steve Smith had vowed to not take Pakistan and Yasir Shah lightly after having been pointed out that Yasir Shah had got rid of him seven times.

After crossing 19 runs in that innings, Smith surpassed Sir Donald Bradman's Test career runs (6,996 runs). It took Smith 70 Tests to do so, while Bradman needed only 52.

Australian batsman Steve Smith once again enters the record books of Test cricket after he became the fastest batsman to reach 7000 Test runs in the history of cricket.
