The other co-hosts of the "The View" are Whoopi Goldberg, who moderates the show, Joy Behar, McCain and Sunny Hostin.

Abby Huntsman, who joined the show in September 2018, announced on the ABC talk show that she was exiting the popular discussion program. "Family has always been my number one priority, and is where I need to be focused at this time", she said in a statement. "I couldn't be more excited about helping someone I love".

Fox News obtained a memo that the show's executive producers sent to staff on Monday.

We have some bittersweet news to share. President Donald Trump named Jon Huntsman the US ambassador to Russian Federation in 2017.

Huntsman will appear on The View through Friday. He asked his daughter to be a senior adviser to the campaign. "We thank Abby for her unique, intelligent, insightful and relatable voice that she brought to the show both in front of and behind the camera".

Reservoirs in the northern and central portions of the watershed were used to reduce downstream flooding during this event. Some communities in the southern section of the watershed, like Brantford, Six Nations and Caledonia, have peaked as well.

That's according to a CNN report, which reported on the pair's numerous run-ins after the bombshell news that Huntsman was leaving the show at the end of this week to work on her father's gubernatorial run. "A lot of us are in that middle area, and that's where I sit".

"ABC will always hold a special place in my heart, and so will all of you", she added.

The co-host also addressed her transition back to politics at the beginning of Monday's episode. A source close to the situation told Fox News that the former Utah governor asked his daughter for help last November when he made a decision to run for his old job. From 2005 to 2009, Huntsman was Governor of Utah and subsequently the ambassador to China. He recently finished a two-year stint as ambassador to Russian Federation under President Trump, which ended when he chose to return to Utah last year.

Huntsman, 33, joined the show at the start of season 22 in September 2018; the show is now in its 23rd season. "I'm heartbroken you're leaving, but I can understand better than anybody how important it is to go support your dad". Thank you for being one of the sisters I got to choose in this life. Huntsman broke the news in a statement provided to People and later addressed it on the ABC talk show Monday morning. "It's not often in life you get these moments to go fight for something that you're so passionate about and believe in".
