Cape Town - Former Bachelorette contestant Tyler Gwozdz has died.

Tyler's body is reportedly now with the Palm Beach Medical Examiner's Office and an autopsy will take a about eight to 12 weeks to complete.

His date of death is listed as January 22, a week after the Boca Raton PD say they responded to a 911 call for a "medical overdose" involving Gwozdz on January 13.

They ended up transporting Tyler to a hospital where he was admitted to the ICU. Once paramedics took Gwozdz to the hospital he was reportedly in critical but stable condition. TMZ reported he was "no longer in their system" by Tuesday.

Rosenthal: Why Scott Boras says the Astros players don't need to apologize
Cora had been bench coach for the Astros before leading Boston to the title, and an investigation into the Red Sox is ongoing. As expected, the spin is already being spun with regard to Astros players and whether ot not they will be apologizing .

Gwozdz appeared on two episodes of The Bachelorette previous year. She had been trying to break down the door to the bathroom, where Gwozdz was locked inside.

At the time, fans theorised - thanks to Bachelor and Bachelorette blogger Reality Steve - Gwozdz was asked to leave when producers found something out about his "past relationships".

He said the reason his actual exit wasn't aired was to respect his privacy. Despite having a one-on-one date with Hannah, he was mysteriously sent home after only three weeks on the show. Right before filming began, an anonymous poster claimed to know two people who went to high school with Gwozdz and allegedly called him an "extreme misogynist", with one claiming he once "spit on" a girlfriend during a breakup.

"This was a decision that I came to with producers, and something that I've come to realise what is the best decision that could've been made", he said. According to his Bachelorette bio, he planned to earn his PhD so he could become a clinical psychologist, and he recently moved to Florida to study at Florida Atlantic University. His most recent Instagram post, which he shared in September 2019, featured snapshots with fellow male alums from the "Bachelor" franchise.
