However, next week's episode of Arrow will shift gears, as Black Canary Laurel Lance and Black Canary Dinah Drake will travel to the future - Star City 2040 - to meet up with Oliver's altered daughter Mia Smoak-Queen.

The episode is, of course, the backdoor pilot for Green Arrow and The Canaries - a potential spin-off series starring Arrow's leading lady Katie Cassidy (Laurel), Juliana Harkavy (Dinah) and Katherine McNamara (Mia) that will hopefully be picked up following the episode's airing.
