The CW is saying yes to some super cool guys for this fall.

For example, the Supergirl spinoff Superman and Lois, which was announced back in October, has scored a straight-to-series order from the network (this news comes from Variety), which is also pursuing an Arrow spinoff via a backdoor pilot episode on January 21. Hoechlin and Tulloch have both appeared in the Arrowverse already, including in 2018's "Elseworlds" crossover and the 2019 and 2020 "Crisis on Infinite Earths".

The series, from Berlanti Productions in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television, is based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

James Murdoch Blasts Fox News for 'Climate-Change Denial'
Last week a News Corp employee in Australia lashed out at the company's "irresponsible" coverage of the bushfire crisis. James and Kathryn Murdoch have released a joint statement, speaking out against New Corp's climate change coverage.

The show is written and executive produced by The Flash's Todd Helbing, and executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns.

According to the official serial logline, Jared's version of Walker is "a widower and father of two with his own code of ethics who returns to Austin after two years of undercover, only to find out that hard work has to be done at home". Once home, he notices that "heavier work needs to be done". "He'll try to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his conservative family, and find unexpected common ground with his new partner, one of the few women ever to serve in the Texas Rangers - while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances of his wife's death".

The CW has also placed a straight-to-series order for a reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger, a Western show from the late '90s and early 2000s that starred Chuck Norris in the main role.
