Friday night's road game between the Toronto Marlies and Texas Stars in Cedar Park near Austin was forfeited to the home team after Toronto assistant coach Rob Davison experienced a medical emergency in the visitors room prior to puck drop and the farm club elected not to play.

"Prior to our game against the Texas Stars last night, I experienced a seizure in the locker room at the HEB Center", said Davison, 39, who played 219 National Hockey League games as a defenseman from 2002-10.

The team also said Davison will be on an indefinite medical leave.

"Following what happened tonight with Rob in front of our players and staff, I consulted with Laurence Gilman, Greg Moore and the leadership group of the Marlies", Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas said Friday in a statement.

'Morbius' trailer cameo connects Sony's Spider-Verse to the MCU
As for the rest of the teaser trailer, if fans like Venom , then Morbius should be more of the same, at least stylistically. Morbius is, after all, "the Living Vampire" as the teaser goes through the character's basic origin story.

A grand mal seizure results from abnormal electrical activity in the brain and causes a loss of consciousness and violent muscle contractions, according to the Mayo Clinic. I became informed that the complete group was at surprise and they had been in no problem to relax and play tonight.

The Marlies forfeited the game and the Stars were awarded a 1-0 victory.

The release thanked the Stars' team for their prompt care during the incident. Sandin, 19, had two assists for the Leafs in six games earlier in the season, and has 15 points (2 goals, 13 assists) in 21 AHL games, and was named the top defenseman at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championships in the Czech Republic after scoring 10 points (3 goals, 7 assists) for Sweden in seven games. He has been with the Marlies since 2017.
