Banksy has confirmed that a new street art piece that appeared overnight on the side of a house in Barton Hill, Bristol is his work.

The artwork appears to be inspired by Valentine's Day, depicting a stencil of a young girl firing a slingshot of red flowers made with spray painted ivy.

People have already been visiting and taking photos of the artwork.

'There's been a lot of debate if it is a Banksy or not.

This piece joins Banksy's other array of famous graffiti pieces throughout Bristol, including The Mild Mild West, Gorilla in a Pink Mask and Well Hung Lover. "Most people I've spoken to think it 100 percent is, and they're naming it the Valentine's Banksy", she said. It's incredible and handsome'.
