A man is being tested for coronavirus on a cruise ship docked in Sydney, which travelled around New Zealand.

It is unclear where the man, who Australian media reports is Singaporean, boarded the vessel.

However, no passengers had any respiratory-related illnesses.

Owners of the Norwegian Jewel cruise ship say some passengers contracted "stomach-related illnesses" - but there is no coronavirus scare onboard.

Reports suggesting a coronavirus scare were false and inflammatory, the company said. "There is absolutely no truth to those stories". "The vessel remains in operation, and all guests on board are in good health", a spokesperson said.

The Norwegian Jewel docked in Circular Quay. "As such, upon the ship's return to Sydney [today] a a thorough inspection and rigorous cleaning and disinfection of the ship and terminal were conducted".

The ship, which arrived in Sydney on Friday and is scheduled to depart on Saturday for a 14-day cruise of Australia and New Zealand, was never locked down.

Pam's a romantic, but she is also very independent'. "There's no fool like an old fool", Jon ranted as he concluded in his e-mail. Peters said he dropped everything for Anderson, and she had almost $200K in debts and no way to pay the bills.

It is unsure when the man boarded the cruise ship.

"Before anyone can disembark the ship, they are going on board, screening those passengers and if all clear, everyone will come off the ship", the spokesperson said.

The cruise ship, Norwegian Jewel, departed from Auckland on February 4, then visited Tauranga, Gisborne, Wellington, Picton, Akaroa, and Dunedin, before arriving in Sydney on Friday.

None of the people on board had been to China within the past two weeks.

Three routine medical transfers from the ship occurred on Friday unrelated to respiratory illness.

The health ministry did not specify the nature of the respiratory illness, or specifically rule out the coronavirus.
