Stranger Things Season 4 Trailer: Hopper Alive, David Harbour Returns

And it's Hopper! (Of course.) Head newly shaven, Hopper wipes the sweat off his brow and looks up at the sky.

Good news for everyone awaiting the next instalment of Netflix's D&D-inspired "80s nostalgia-fest: Stranger Things 4 is officially in production". Since then, we've been gathering plenty of evidence that supports the idea that Hopper was somehow transported to Russian Federation during that deadly blast, and that's how he survived unbeknownst to everyone at home.

As one Twitter user pointed out, "someone in the "Stranger Things" writing room really f**king hates Russian Federation".

The first Stranger Things season 4 teaser trailer is here and it confirms what we'd all hoped: Hopper is very much alive, albeit looking the little worse for wear and sporting a buzz cut.

Amber Rose claps back at people trolling her enormous forehead tattoo
It's a tattoo she's thought about for a while, she continued, and Bryant's sudden death served as the catalyst to get it. The SlutWalk founder said that the basketball player's death made her realize how precious life is.

Earlier today, he himself shared the teaser to social media, wishing his fans a happy Valentine's Day, so it would certainly appear that he's done pretending. The camera focuses on one specific individual who is quickly identified to be a shaven-headed Jim Hopper, played by David Harbour. "Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything", the wrote.

And maybe that's why the new footage is fun, because ... well, we knew he'd be fine, and the fact that Netflix is just accepting that and giving us more Hopper instantly? (Or, for that matter, how Hopper survived going through that portal and why it spat him back out in Russia.) Will we see Finn and his friends take a field trip, or will the season cut back and forth between these two storylines? "In the meantime, pray for the American".

Series creators, the Duffer brothers, also released a statement about the new clip.

Hopper's foster daughter, Eleven, lost her powers last season on Stranger Things.
