Rumor The Division 2 Warlords of New York Expansion Coming in March Second Season to be Revealed Tomorrow

Ubisoft is preparing for a trip down memory lane in the latest expansion for Tom Clancy's The Division 2. The Division 2: Warlords of NY is set to be available on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 on March 3, with a release on Stadia coming sometime later in March.

The Division 2 is taking players to Manhattan in a new expansion, out on March 3. Coney Island - The Hunt brings with it two main missions, two "classified assignments" for pass holders, a new Specialization, plus new weapons including an exotic weapon. In the video above, Samuel goes over the five big things that players need to know about The Division 2: Warlords of NY.

The expansion will feature a new open-world set in NY, where the first Division game took place. There is no word just yet on a release date, but it'll cost $30.

This next substantial piece of content will see players return to lower Manhattan to confront Aaron Keener, a rogue agent and antagonist from the first game who has engineered a biological attack in the area. Keener, along with his network of Rogue Agents, is now "a major threat to the rebirth of civilization". Agents are tasked to explore new zones, each with iconic locations such as Two Bridges, Chinatown, and Wall Street. Hell, you don't even need to have played it at all. Each Rogue Agent has their own unique back story and skill-which you gain once you take them down.

Along with The Division 2 Warlords of New York, Title Update 8 will include an RPG overhaul, allowing players to better read and manage their gear inventory. Changes to the UI promise players will always have quicker access to the roll ranges of each gear item. This will apparently allow for greater flexibility when building your Agent. The focus is on rewarding player-to-player interaction, whether it's fighting against each other or helping a fellow Agent against a tough Rogue player. WoNY ushers in changes to the level cap, increasing it from 30 to 40 and a new infinite progression system has been added.

Level 3 breaches carry a minimum penalty of four suspension points and a maximum penalty of 12 suspension points. Patel claimed that match referee Graeme Labrooy met him and expressed regret at what transpired on the field.

Warlords of NY brings a whole host of changes, improvements, and more to the game. These three-month-long Seasons will introduce new Manhunts featuring a network of criminals and a central Big Bad to track down with new goons to hunt down regularly, each with unique rewards.

Warlords of NY will be available for The Division 2 on 3rd March 2020, alongside Title Update 8 with an "RPG overhaul" that will simplify management of your gear inventory, an update to the UI screen, the return of "god rolls", and a more streamlined gear recalibration system with item and stat usefulness indicators.

This appears to be a good time for new players to pick up the game, as well as being an exciting addition if you're still a dedicated player. There will also be new in-game activities like League, which is a series of challenges, and the return of Global Events.

As you complete more seasonal content, more rewards await, and there will also be a Season Pass which will give players even more incentive to play.
