Hazard joined Madrid from Chelsea last summer for a reported fee of £150million but has failed to live to the expectations due to an injury that has seen him on the sidelines for some time.

With only one goal to his name across all competitions, the 29-year-old admits he's just looking forward to next season, despite the coronavirus suspending the league indefinitely during his latest lay-off.

Eden Hazard has said his debut season at Real Madrid has been "bad" as he continues his recovery from surgery. I will be judged on the second one.

"The group is good; it's been a great experience for me". It is up to me to be in good shape next year.

"I'd hoped to be fit [for the Euros] so it's a bit disappointing that they've been postponed", Hazard added.

Spain now has a death toll of 3,647 from COVID-19 with a total of almost 50,000 cases reported and Hazard admits he's concerned about what's unfolding around the globe. I'm a little afraid, like everyone else, but I'm especially afraid of transmitting it to others; that's the most troubling thing.

"We have to take care of ourselves".

There were reports of many states saying their employment websites crashed because of heavy traffic. Weekly claims are the most timely labor market indicator.

Eden Hazard has spoken for the first time since undergoing surgery in Dallas to fix an ankle injury that is expected to leave him on the sidelines for two to three months.

"I'd planned to play, the operation was a few weeks ago now".

"I am anxious about the weakest people, who have more problems".

"We'll have another year in 2021, which is a shame, but my ankle will allow me to get back in shape".

"I think it's probably hard for the fans because they want to watch an global tournament every summer, so it's hard for them".

"But I also think that there are priorities in life that means it had to be cancelled".
