"Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9's first stage on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean", SpaceX stated in a mission overview. CEO Elon Musk said the Falcon 9 rocket lost one of its nine engines during the trip.

SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket lifts off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. That's due in part to the redundancy built into the design of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, which uses 9 Merlin engines working together. "Thorough investigation needed before next mission", Musk tweeted.

SpaceX launched 60 more of its internet satellites into orbit Wednesday despite an engine failure shortly after liftoff on a recycled rocket flying a record five times. The company has designed Falcon 9 first-stage boosters to complete 10 flights each.

A widely known astronomer and satellite tracker say observatories that scan the sky for probably hazardous asteroids may very well be impacted by SpaceX's plan to deploy over 12,000 satellites to low Earth orbit over the following a number of years. Musk said at the Satellite 2020 conference that Starlink is created to serve the 3-4% of the population that is most hard to reach.

Over the past few months, SpaceX has been launching batches of satellites with the goal of creating a network to provide internet services to those who are not yet connected. Musk said SpaceX is not thinking about spinning off Starlink as a separate business.
