“Follow your intuitions and think of your family – which is what’s most important,” said sophomore Pedro Uno when asked for the best piece of advice he could give someone.
Family is the Brazilian student’s priority. Uno finds himself studying economics in America because his passions for travel and tennis have brought him to William Jewell College.
“I enjoy culture shock,” said Uno. “Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s not funny and sometimes it’s just interesting.”
His family back home and new friendships are Uno’s keys to happiness.
“To have a good life you have to have good friendships and be good with your family, and always work hard for your objectives.”
