Kardashian tweeted about Johnson Wednesday: "Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson".

"I can confirm she'll be here".

Others joked that Kardashian was probably smarter than Trump - and since prison reform is urgently needed - their meeting might be a good thing after all.

Earlier in the day White House press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed the visit, but wouldn't say whether Kardashian would meet Trump or what would be discussed.

Kardashian is seeking a pardon for Johnson, who was given a life sentence without parole for a first-time drug conviction over 21 years ago.

Kardashian West's husband, Kanye West, has continued to show his support for Trump ever since he met the president at Trump Tower in New York City in December 2016.

"You don't have to agree with Trump but the mob can't make me not love him", West posted in April, with Trump thanking him for the "cool" support.

Dressed in an all black suit and bright yellow stilettos, Kim clearly meant business as she was escorted into the president's abode by security staff. She fit all of the criteria for former President Barack Obama's Clemency Project 2014, but was denied just days before the end of his term.

The malware reportedly targets several manufacturers and network-attacked storage (NAS) devices by at least one manufacturer. Hackers wrote the program to target small office and home routers by companies such as LinkSys , Netgear , and TP-Link.

She said in the Mic video, "When I lost my job, I struggled financially".

According to Vanity Fair, the meeting was arranged by senior advisor Jared Kushner, who has been outspoken on the subject of prison reform after his father served time in federal prison on charges of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion and witness tampering. In an op-ed titled "Why Kim Kardashian Thinks I Should Be Released From Prison" for CNN, Johnson wrote that her life "began to spiral out of control" after the loss of her son and her divorce.

The president recently mused that some drug dealers could be prime candidates for the death penalty.

Say what you will about the Kardashians (personally I find it almost impossible not to admire the hell out of the Kris Jenner Machine and their collective business acumen). Johnson is serving a sentence of life in prison.

At the time, The Tennessean reported that Johnson led a "multimillion-dollar drug ring that dealt in tons of cocaine from 1991-94".

Scholl added that Johnson has admitted her wrongdoing, which is borne out in letters she has written to U.S. District Judge Samuel H. Mays, who now oversees her case.

As someone who used to dig through couch cushions for gas money and sold family jewelry to pay bills, I can honestly say I know what it's like to feel desperate enough to do whatever it takes to keep yourself afloat.
