Bourdain's ex-wife says daughter 'strong and brave' following father's death

As reported by Page Six The 42-year-old actress was posting photos and videos to her Instagram story all throughout the day on Thursday, some of which included a Rome geotag, which would indicate that she was not in France with Bourdain at the time of his death.

In the caption Busia wrote: 'Our little girl had her concert today.

"And when he came back at the end of that summer, we talked about and since he had so little interest in his college career, I suggested the Culinary Institute and that's how it all started", she added.

"Sitting across from me is the remarkable human and fearless survivor, Asia Argento, who has been through more than most could stand, and yet stand she does. She wore the boots you bought her", Busia wrote alongside the image. "I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are".

Navarro previously opened about his mother's murder at the hands of an estranged boyfriend when he was just 15 years old.

In a 2008 interview with the AP, Bourdain had said Ariane's birth had changed his outlook on life.

Busia and Bourdain divorced in 2016 after nine years of marriage but remained close, and his ex-wife is handling funeral arrangements and the process of retrieving the chef's body from France.

'IRRESPONSIBLE AND DISTASTEFUL': Eminem slammed for using gunshot sound effects at Bonnaroo
To hear a gun shot sound effect and see the entire crowd drop to the floor out of instinct is not funny, cute, or amusing. One woman tweeted that she suffers from mild PTSD and called the use of sound effects "irresponsible and distasteful".

In the days following Bourdain's death, mourners have flocked to Brasserie Les Halles, the now-shuttered NY restaurant where he once served as executive chef.

CNN confirmed the Parts Unknown host's passing on Friday, June 8, stating that his cause of death was suicide. "I never coaxed her or even suggested that she try something out of her comfort zone", he told in 2016.

"He put down his armor, and that was very much his choice". Thank you for sharing your strength in this hard time and for being Anthony's daughter'.

Bourdain was in Paris working on an upcoming episode of his award-winning CNN series when his friend Eric Ripert, a French chef, found him unresponsive in his hotel room.

"Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did", she wrote. They laughed, they loved and he was her rock during the hardships of this previous year. My thoughts are with his family. "I thought, you know what, I not only really want a child, but at this point, finally in my life, I think I'm up to the job".

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline's phone number was on the bottom of the screen throughout the segment, with Cooper emphasizing, like so many others, that depression can affect anyone - even someone whose job of traveling the world and eating great food made millions envious.
