Deandre Ayton had a pre-draft workout with the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, who hold the first pick in the National Basketball Association draft later this month.

Ayton, a one-year star at Arizona, is largely considered the most likely candidate to be selected by the Suns later this month, and he's already guaranteeing it.

"I'm the best competitor in this draft", Ayton said after his workout.

"Everybody knows us now, " he said.

"No one else", Ayton mentioned during his Suns' draft workout interview when he was asked if he'll be working out for other teams. Phoenix also has the No. 16 pick and flexibility in free agency, so other moves could be made to help the franchise move forward.

Separating children from parents at USA border 'unconscionable': United Nations rights chief
Johnson said: "But I stress that that does not mean that we in the United Kingdom are blind to the value of this council". The session kicked off under a cloud of growing U.S. criticism of the council.

Marvin Bagley III was a double-double machine in the ACC for Duke.

Ayton was named Pac-12 Player of the Year after averaging 20.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game as a freshman with the Wildcats.

The 2018 NBA Draft will be held this June 21 in Brooklyn. This is the only workout for a team that Ayton will do before the draft.

"It's great. We take that as a compliment". He brushed aside questions about his defense. I don't think there's nobody like me. Yes, I said backcourt. Big key I learned was versatility. I play my heart out on both ends of the floor, and I give it my all. "And Hakeem Olajuwon, with his footwork down low, I try to really pick up a lot of stuff with those guys". If the Suns draft Doncic, it would allow the possibility of the Kings to select Ayton at No.2 and pair him alongside Hield for the foreseeable future.

Ayton is a "once in a lifetime" player that has that natural ability to do things that are just godlike.
