Millie Bobby Brown skipping MTV Movie Awards after 'milestone' injury

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has deleted her Twitter account after becoming a subject of homophobic memes.

'I have split my knee cap so from the doctors orders, he told me to rest up and that means I won't be attending the MTV Awards'.

"I've never actually broken a bone except for now". The Duffer brothers, who created the series, can barely contain their praise for Brown, stating, "Millie has these incredible instincts, I don't know where they come from, but let's just let this happen and stay out of her way".

Individually, Millie is up for the Best Actor in a Show and the Best Kiss Award for her smooch with co-star Finn Wolfhard. I wish you guys the best.

Italy, France call for EU migrant centres in Africa
Speaking alongside Macron in Paris, Conte said the two had "fully clarified" their views and were in "perfect agreement". Macron had accused Rome earlier this week of "cynicism and irresponsibility", sparking fury from Conte's government.

The post comes days after the actress made a decision to delete her official Twitter accounts due to hateful comments and homophobic memes, some paired with the hashtag "Take Down Millie Bobby Brown". She added, "I'll be there in spirit".

The account is still active but the last tweet shared was on 13 December. According to TheWrap, the tag first appeared in November but resurfaced in June to coincide with Pride Month.

Millie herself frequently posted on social media, updating on her whereabouts and posting sweet messages with boyfriend YouTuber Jacob Sartorius.

Get ready to laugh when the MTV Movie & TV Awards airs Monday, June 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
