Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy on Wednesday responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's fitness challenge saying that yoga and treadmill were a part of his daily workout but he was more concerned about the "development fitness" of his Karnataka.

On Twitter, Modi said he also walks "on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash". As Modi rightly described in his tweet, it was "extremely refreshing and rejuvenating" to see the head of the country doing some breathing exercises amid greenery and chirping birds in an exquisitely shot video. "I also practicebreathing exercises", he wrote.

The union minister shared a video on twitter performing push-ups in his office while talking about how inspired he is by PM Modi and challenged Virat Kohli, Hrithik Roshan and Saina Nehwal to share their fitness secrets.

This fitness challenge on Twitter has gained vast popularity ever since Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore threw the first challenge.
