Stranded raccoon scales skyscraper in downtown St. Paul

It was dubbed the #MPRraccoon because Minnesota Public Radio, whose offices are in a nearby building, documented the animal's long, odd trip.

With no balconies or windows that open, office workers inside the building were left to watch anxiously as the raccoon continued its climb. At one point, a small crowd had gathered on the street to see what would happen next.

A raccoon is finding itself in deeper and deeper - er, higher and higher - trouble as it climbs downtown St. Paul's UBS Tower.

It appeared, by about 1:30 p.m. local time, he had almost reached the top of the building.

Not prepared to take a hint, it headed to the neighboring UBS tower - one of the tallest buildings in the city. He started climbing. And he's now on the 22nd floor.

Flaunt Your Style at Your Office with Graceful Jewellery
This is why it is best to avoid jewellery that will draw unwanted attention and take away the focus from what you are presenting. A delicate diamond ring, a simple platinum or gold band looks great and works well with both Indian as well as western outfits.

Many expressed concern for the raccoon's safety - wondering aloud about possible rescue scenarios.

"We've been told that the building has live traps on the roof and are trying to get him to go up there", Paige Donnelly Law wrote.

At the 23rd floor, it stopped for a nap, allowing time for more photos.

One lucky racoon in the U.S. has not only made it (to the top of a building, that is), but has also gained world-wide attention for its dare-devil antics.

Evan Frost, also of MPR News, tweeted the raccoon got a visit from the St. Paul Fire Department, and that cat food had been placed on the roof of the building.
