Trump issues a major statement against National Football League players refusing White House visit

POTUS has spoken! Donald Trump has shockingly chose to call off the Philadelphia Eagles visit to the White House due to controversy surrounding certain player's decisions to not stand for the National Anthem.

"During our report about President Trump canceling the Philadelphia Eagles trip to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win, we showed unrelated footage of players kneeling in prayer".

In the end, Sanders says the Eagles offered to send "only a tiny handful of representatives" to the event, "while making clear that the great majority of players would not attend". The White House said that they would "loudly and proudly play the National Anthem" during the event reported the Hill.

Don't be late: "I will be there at 3:00 p.m. with the United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus to celebrate America", he said.

Under a policy unveiled last month by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and welcomed by Trump, teams will be fined if players on the field fail to stand during "The Star-Spangled Banner".

"The Philadelphia Eagles Football Team was invited to the White House", Trump wrote on his Twitter page.

Yaya Toure accuses Pep Guardiola of having 'problems with Africans'
Kevin De Bruyne has suggested Yaya Toure fell from favour with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City because he was not fit enough. Toure left City last month after eight seasons at the Etihad, the last two of which were spent under Guardiola.

In the wake of Trump's cancellation, Tuesday became a regular OTA day for the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Many players in the NFL have been critical of President Trump's comments on race relations, with the president labelling the league "weak and out of control" back in October.

The decision came after the Eagles met with their players about the White House visit.

Last year, the White House canceled a visit by the National Basketball Association champions, the Golden State Warriors. but that was after it's star players said they wouldn't be going. He has repeatedly spoken out on the issue and condemned the players who choose to kneel during the song. Trump had been prepared to host the Eagles Tuesday, but announced Monday he was canceling the event.

As a result, the victory party planned for later today no longer has the Philadelphia Eagles on the guest list.
